Love for Clarins

Recently, I have fallen in love with skincare products from Clarins. It began with White Plus HP Repaire Whitening Cream that I asked Winnie to get for me while she was in Hong Kong. Apparently, the White Plus HP line is unavailable in the U.S. and only sold in Asia. I love the texture of this night cream. It's very light and moisturizing, and I love putting a thick layer of it on before going to bed.

Next, I checked out Clarins Eye Contour Balm. I actually requested several samples of this product from the counter at Nordstrom before finally deciding to purchase it. I've tried many different kinds of eye cream before and this is by far my favorite because it actually works and can easily be absorbed by the skin underneath my eyes. I also saw improvement in the fine lines near the inner corners of my eyes, a primary concern that I have.

During the same visit, I also purchased Clarins Toning Lotion for Combination/Oily Skin. I did a lot of research on toners before deciding to try one from this brand that I am currently loving. The weird thing is, I do not have oily skin or even combination skin. I always thought my skin tends to feel dry. However, the Clarins saleswoman told me that the toning lotion for dry/normal skin will be too oily and heavy. I was sort of skeptical but I decided to trust her, and I'm very glad I did. The toner is very soothing and moisturizing, perfect to use after washing my face. I also love the way it smells. Toner is very important to skincare because it prepares your skin to receive whatever you put on it. I strongly believe that any kind of lotion, cream or moisturizer will not be as effective on the skin without preparation with toner.

So, these are my 3 investments in Clarins thus far. I am sure there will be more in the future!
